Webster is a small farming town in northeastern South Dakota, about 45 miles east of Aberdeen via US Highway 12. The county seat of Day County sits in rolling prairie country with nearly 1,900 residents. Highway 25 runs north-south through town, while US 12 provides the main east-west route toward Minnesota or west to Aberdeen's regional airport. The 1904 Day County Courthouse with its brick clock tower still dominates the downtown square.
