Wayne is a northeast Nebraska college town of 6,000 people, home to Wayne State College. It's 45 miles from Sioux City and 120 miles from Omaha via US-35 and connecting highways. The restored 1907 Majestic Theatre anchors downtown and still hosts live shows.
