Waverly is a small Minnesota city of about 2,300 people located 40 miles west of Minneapolis via Highway 12. The main route from the Twin Cities takes about 45 minutes through suburbs before reaching rural Wright County. Highway 55 connects from the south, meeting Highway 12 in town. The restored 1900 railroad depot now serves as a community center hosting farmers markets and local events.
