Waverly is a small Kansas town of 625 people located 60 miles southwest of Kansas City along US Highway 75. The main route from KC goes south on I-35 to Ottawa, then US-75 south for 20 miles. From Topeka, it's about 45 miles southeast on US-75. The town sits near John Redmond Reservoir in rolling prairie country and features a vintage Phillips 66 station with original 1950s signage.
