Waucoma is a small farming town in northeast Iowa's Fayette County, connected to the region by Highway 150. Most visitors arrive via Highway 18, then turn north on Highway 150 into town. The area features rolling hills along the Upper Iowa River, with corn and soybean fields stretching between wooded creek valleys. The town's most notable landmark is its historic limestone quarry, which created dramatic rock faces that still define the local landscape.
