Watkins is a small farming town of 765 people in central Minnesota's Meeker County. Highway 55 runs east-west through town, connecting to I-94 about 75 miles from the Twin Cities. Highway 4 provides the north-south route to Litchfield and St. Cloud. The classic grain elevator by the railroad tracks has been a landmark for travelers for over a century.
