Waterville is a lakeside city in south-central Minnesota, about 70 miles from the Twin Cities via I-35 and Highway 13. The town sits on Lake Tetonka, making it popular for fishing and boating. Highway 13 runs right through town, connecting to Mankato and other regional destinations. The 1896 Waterville Opera House still hosts live shows with its original hand-painted ceiling murals.
