Waterville is a small Kansas town of about 750 people on US Highway 77, roughly 25 miles north of Manhattan. The main routes are US 77 running north-south and State Highway 9 going east-west to neighboring communities. Most visitors drive up from Manhattan or down from the Nebraska border. The historic Blue Valley Creamery building recalls the town's dairy farming past.
