Waterman is a small farming town in DeKalb County, about an hour west of Chicago via I-88. Take Exit 54 to Route 23 north for the final three miles into town. The community of 1,400 sits on flat prairie land with a grid of rural roads connecting to DeKalb and the I-88 corridor. The restored 1896 railroad depot now serves as village hall.
