Waterloo is a tiny Oregon community along the South Santiam River, about 15 miles east of Lebanon via scenic Highway 226. The route follows the river valley toward the Cascades, passing through farmland before entering forested hills. Most notable is the town's 1939 covered bridge spanning the South Santiam River.
