Washingtonville is a small Ohio town of 601 people in Columbiana County, about 20 miles southwest of Youngstown. State Route 11 runs right through town, connecting north to Youngstown via US Route 224 and south to Salem. The drive from Youngstown takes about 25 minutes through rural countryside. A working century-old grain elevator along the railroad tracks serves as the town's most distinctive landmark.
