Washington Park is a tiny riverside town of about 450 people in eastern North Carolina's Beaufort County. Located along the Pamlico River about 30 miles east of Greenville via US Highway 264, it's one of the region's smallest incorporated communities. Warren Field airport provides local air access nearby. The town maintains its own municipal government despite being smaller than many neighborhoods, making it a unique example of small-town independence in coastal North Carolina.
