Warroad sits four miles from the Canadian border on Lake of the Woods in Minnesota's northwest corner. Highway 11 runs east-west through town, while Highway 313 connects south to Roseau (20 miles) and eventually Thief River Falls (45 miles). The city serves as a gateway to excellent walleye fishing and is home to the original Marvin Windows factory, operating here since 1939.
