Warner is a small farming town in northeastern South Dakota, population 512, sitting along US Highway 12 about 20 miles northwest of Aberdeen. Most visitors pass through on US 12, a major east-west route connecting Minneapolis to the Black Hills, or take State Highway 37 north-south. Aberdeen Regional Airport is 25 miles southeast. The town's restored 1920s movie theater still shows films on weekends in its original art deco interior.
