Wanatah is a small farming town in northwestern Indiana, about an hour east of Chicago via US Highway 30. The historic Lincoln Highway runs right through downtown, making it a natural stop for cross-country travelers. State Road 49 connects from the south, while local roads link to Valparaiso and La Porte. The restored 1907 Pennsylvania Railroad depot now houses the town's historical museum.
