Wanaque is a small mountain town in northern New Jersey, 25 miles from NYC via I-80 to I-287 north. Route 208 runs right through town, connecting to major highways for easy access. The area centers around the large Wanaque Reservoir, built in 1928 with a striking Art Deco pump house that still supplies drinking water to over a million people across North Jersey.
