Walton is a small farming town in south-central Kansas, 15 miles east of Newton via Highway 50. The restored 1887 Santa Fe Railroad depot serves as a museum highlighting the community's railroad and agricultural heritage. Most traffic uses Highway 50 for local commutes or longer cross-state routes.
