Walton is a small farming town in north-central Indiana's Cass County, about 15 miles northeast of Kokomo via State Road 22. Most visitors arrive from Indianapolis by taking US 31 north then heading east on SR 22, while eastern travelers use State Road 18. The town sits amid agricultural fields with a typical Midwest climate. Walton's historic covered bridge over Deer Creek remains one of Cass County's few surviving 19th-century covered bridges still in use.
