Waltham is a tiny farming town of 182 people in southeastern Minnesota, reached via Highway 56 about 15 miles northeast of Austin. The main route connects south to I-90 for longer trips to Rochester or the Twin Cities. The working 1920s grain elevator remains the town's most recognizable landmark.
