Walters is a small farming town in southwestern Oklahoma, about 15 miles from the Texas line along US Highway 81. The main routes are US 81 running north to Chickasha and south toward Texas, plus State Highway 5 connecting east to Duncan and west to Lawton. It's surrounded by cotton and wheat fields in classic Great Plains country. The town hosts the annual Cotton County Fair each September, celebrating the area's deep agricultural roots.
