Wall sits on Interstate 90 in southwestern South Dakota, about 50 miles east of Rapid City and 8 miles from Badlands National Park. Most visitors arrive via I-90, connecting to Sioux Falls eastbound or Billings westbound, while day-trippers take Highway 240 south for the Badlands Loop Road. The town's centerpiece is Wall Drug Store, which expanded from a 1931 pharmacy into a massive tourist complex covering an entire city block.
