Wall Lake is a tiny community of 181 people in LaGrange County's lake country, about 45 miles north of Fort Wayne via State Road 9. The Indiana Toll Road provides quick access from major cities, while local roads like County Road 300 North connect the scattered lake communities. The town gets its name from an actual lake with a historic stone retaining wall built by early settlers that still lines the water's main residential shoreline.
