Wall Lake is a small farming town in northwest Iowa, connected by Highway 20 and Highway 71. Most visitors arrive via Highway 20 from Fort Dodge (45 miles) or Sioux City (60 miles), while locals make quick trips to county seat Sac City just 8 miles east. The town sits beside the natural lake that gives it its name, which early settlers described as having steep, wall-like banks.
