Waldo is a tiny farming community of 370 people in north-central Ohio, located on State Route 23 about 45 miles north of Columbus. Most visitors pass through on SR-23 while traveling between Columbus and Marion, though locals also use it for short trips to Marion for shopping. The village sits in typical Ohio farmland with gently rolling terrain and features one of the state's smallest post offices, which still serves as an informal community gathering spot.
