Wagner is a small city in south-central South Dakota that serves as Charles Mix County's seat. Located along the Missouri River, it's reached via Highway 46 from Interstate 29 near Yankton, about 90 miles from Sioux Falls. The city sits at the base of Fort Randall Dam, which created Lake Francis Case in the 1950s.
