Wadley is a small Georgia town about 45 minutes southeast of Augusta via Highway 221. Most visitors pass through on US 1 heading to the coast or use it as a quiet stopover between Augusta and points south. The town sits in rolling farmland typical of east-central Georgia and maintains one of the state's few working cotton gins that still processes local crops each harvest season.
