Wadena is a tiny farming town of 177 people in northeast Iowa's Fayette County. Highway 150 runs right through it, connecting to Fayette 8 miles south and Clermont to the north. For longer trips, locals head to Highway 18 or Highway 3 to reach bigger cities like Waterloo. The town's claim to fame is its 1876 one-room schoolhouse that still stands today.
