Wabasso is a small farming town of 603 people in southwestern Minnesota's corn and soybean country. Highway 71 runs north-south through town, connecting to Willmar and Windom, while Highway 19 heads east to Redwood Falls and west to Tyler. The town hosts an annual Applefest each September featuring a Main Street parade and apple pie contests.
