Volo is a Lake County community about 50 miles northwest of Chicago, home to 6,700 residents amid rolling terrain and wetlands. Route 12 runs through town north-south, while Route 120 provides east-west access. Most longer trips connect via Route 12 to I-94 near Libertyville for Chicago access. The town's claim to fame is the Volo Auto Museum, featuring an extensive collection of classic cars including famous movie and TV vehicles.
