Vina is a small Franklin County community in northwest Alabama's rolling hills, connected primarily by State Route 19. Most visitors arrive from Russellville (15 miles south) or access the area via US Highway 43, with Interstate 22 about 30 miles southeast providing major highway connections. The town, named after its 19th-century post office, retains its agricultural character with working farmsteads dating back over a century.
