Villard is a small farming town in west-central Minnesota's Pope County, reached via Highway 28 from Glenwood (12 miles east) or Morris (west). Most visitors exit I-94 at Glenwood and head west. The town sits in rolling prairie dotted with lakes, surrounded by corn and soybean fields. Its historic wooden grain elevator still towers over the community as a working symbol of the area's agricultural roots.
