Vicksburg is a small Michigan city of about 3,900 people in Kalamazoo County, positioned along the Kalamazoo River between larger urban areas. Take Exit 85 off I-94 for direct access, or use State Route 96 which runs north-south through town. Most visitors arrive via I-94 from Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, or longer trips from Chicago or Detroit, while locals use Sprinkle Road for daily commutes to nearby Portage. The city operates one of Michigan's few remaining manually operated railroad drawbridges over the Kalamazoo River.
