Vevay is a small river town in southeastern Indiana that sits along the Ohio River as the Switzerland County seat. Most visitors arrive via State Road 56, either from Interstate 71 near Louisville (45 minutes) or Interstate 65 from Indianapolis (90 minutes). The town of 1,750 people occupies scenic hills above the river valley. Vevay hosts Indiana's oldest continuously operating farmers market, running since 1828 on the town square every Saturday.
