Vesta is a farming town of 300 people in southwestern Minnesota's corn and soybean country. Take Highway 19 to reach it, or US 212 west from the Twin Cities then south on 19. Most traffic is local agricultural business, with Marshall 25 miles away for major services. The town's grain elevator towers over the flat prairie and can be seen for miles around.
