Versailles is a small Pennsylvania borough about 15 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, home to 1,500 residents in the hilly Youghiogheny River valley. Drivers reach it via I-376 to Route 48 south through White Oak, or from the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Irwin to Route 136 north. The town's 1936 stone municipal building still houses the volunteer fire department downstairs.
