Versailles is a small Indiana town of about 2,000 people located 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis via US Route 421. The Ripley County seat sits in rolling agricultural country with good access to rural communities and connects north to Madison on the Ohio River. It's famous as the hometown of the Milan High School basketball team that inspired the movie "Hoosiers."
