Verona is a tiny farming town of 116 people in south-central North Dakota's LaMoure County. Most visitors arrive via Highway 281 from Interstate 94, then take county roads west. It's about 30 miles from Jamestown and 15 miles from LaMoure. The working grain elevator dominates the prairie skyline and serves as the town's most distinctive landmark.
