Verona is a small farming town in southwest Missouri's Lawrence County, reached via Highway 37 from Monett or US 60 from Springfield. The community sits among rolling Ozark foothills where corn and soybean fields stretch between gentle hills. Most notable is the preserved 1902 one-room schoolhouse that once educated children from the surrounding farms.
