Vandervoort is a tiny mountain community of about 200 people in Arkansas's Ouachita Mountains near the Oklahoma border. Reach it via Highway 8 from Mena (25 miles east) or through scenic Highway 375 from the north. The town operates one of Arkansas's smallest post offices in a building that's been the community hub for decades.
