Valley View is a small city of about 1,900 people located 15 miles southwest of Cleveland along the Cuyahoga River valley. Interstate 77 runs right through town, connecting to Cleveland and Akron, while I-480 provides east-west access across the metro area. The rolling, wooded terrain reflects the area's glacial history. Cleveland Hopkins Airport is 12 miles northeast. The city houses the Cuyahoga County Engineer's headquarters, which oversees road infrastructure for the entire county.
