Valley sits about 20 miles west of Omaha along Highway 275, making it an easy drive from the metro area. This farming community of 3,200 people straddles the Platte River valley in Douglas County. Most visitors take I-680 west from Omaha, then exit onto Highway 275 for the final stretch. The town's historic downtown features the old Valley State Bank building with its original 1920s terra cotta facade.
