Urich is a small farming town in western Missouri, about an hour southeast of Kansas City via Highway 52. Most visitors come through Clinton on Interstate 49, then take Highway 52 west for 12 miles through rolling farmland. The town of under 500 people sits in typical Midwest agricultural country with corn and soybean fields. Its historic one-room schoolhouse from 1888 still stands as a testament to 19th-century rural education.
