Union is a small town of about 475 people in southeastern West Virginia's Monroe County, nestled in the Greenbrier River valley near the Virginia border. Take I-64 to Exit 181 at Lewisburg, then follow US 219 south and WV Route 3 west for the final stretch into town. The area offers classic Appalachian scenery with rolling hills and forests. Union is home to historic Rehoboth Church, a log structure from 1786 that's one of West Virginia's oldest Protestant churches still in use.
