Union is a small farming town in eastern Oregon's Grande Ronde Valley, just eight miles from La Grande via Highway 203. The area sits at 2,700 feet elevation with dramatic Blue Mountain views and serves as a gateway to Wallowa country recreation. Interstate 84 access through La Grande connects to major routes east and west. The restored 1921 Union Hotel downtown still welcomes guests with original pressed-tin ceilings.
