Umatilla is a small Lake County town of 3,800 people located between Ocala and Orlando along US Highway 441. The main route from Orlando follows the Florida Turnpike north to US 441 for about 45 miles through citrus country. State Road 19 provides east-west access to Eustis and the local lake chain. The town centers around a restored 1920s railway depot that now houses the community center.
