Ulm is a tiny farming community in Arkansas's Prairie County, sitting in the heart of the state's rice country. Highway 79 runs right through town, connecting it to Stuttgart 15 miles southeast and other Delta communities. Most visitors come from Little Rock via I-40 and Highway 31, about an hour's drive through flat agricultural land. The town sits on Arkansas's Grand Prairie, where flooded rice fields create some of the state's best duck hunting when waterfowl migrate through each fall.
