Uintah is a small Weber County city nestled between the Wasatch Mountains and Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. Take I-15 to the Roy or Riverdale exits, then head west on local roads to reach this community of about 1,750 residents. Hill Air Force Base sits just south, making it popular with military families, while most visitors arrive from Salt Lake City (35 miles) or Ogden (10 miles). Despite suburban growth, Uintah still maintains working farms within city limits.
