Two Rivers sits where two rivers meet Lake Michigan in eastern Wisconsin, about 80 miles north of Milwaukee via I-43 and Highway 310. The lakefront city experiences typical Great Lakes weather with moderated temperatures year-round. Highway 42 runs north-south through town, connecting to Manitowoc (8 miles south) and Door County destinations. Most visitors arrive via I-43 from Green Bay or Milwaukee, while locals use Highway 147 for regional trips. The city claims to be the birthplace of the ice cream sundae at the historic Washington House restaurant in 1881.
