Two Buttes is a tiny community of 15 people in Colorado's remote southeastern corner, about 25 miles from Lamar via US 287 and County Road 18. The high plains town sits near twin hills that give it its name, serving ranchers and hunters in an area where cell service is spotty and the nearest real services are back in Springfield, 30 miles away.
