Twin Brooks is a farming community of 29 people in eastern South Dakota's Grant County, near the Minnesota border. Reach it via US Highway 12 west from Minneapolis (200 miles) or north from Sioux Falls on I-29 to US 12. The town sits among corn and soybean fields in classic prairie country with wide skies and rolling terrain. Most visitors come from Minnesota, while locals make short trips to Milbank for services. The name comes from two small creeks that meet near the original townsite.
